Drug X Propaganda:

The red in this propaganda poster alerts players to danger. In western societies red incites a physiological response of danger and heat. Thus this serves as a warning for players against Drug X.

This propaganda poster follows the Gestalt principle of simplicity. Limited use of detail draw attention to the poster and thus the message warning against Drug X.

This propaganda poster in particular uses primary colours red and blue to draw attention. Not only is this mix of colours attractive, but satirises patriotism to promote against the reform and Drug X.

This propaganda poster uses elements of the Gestalt principles of closure. This is particularly evident in the “Godfather” figure’s suit. This principle enhances the main points of the poster, making it attractive to the player whilst sending a message against the government, reform and Drug X.
“Fly Free” Resistance Posters:

The resistance poster follows the gestalt principle of similarity. The player sees a phoenix through the use of lines and warm colours in the poster. This along with the the alliteration of “Fly Free” attracts the player’s attention.

Government Officials - Slaves of the Ordinary:

Main character Alyx:

My name is Alyx. I am the last remaining of our creative kind and the leader of ‘Fly Free’. If you have made it this far, you see the errors of mankind. We have lost all that defines us and I am the only one who remembers…
…
..find me..
The design of Alyx incorporates a mix of green, pinks and browns. These are all warm colours and adhere to gestalt principles. Players are more likely to trust this character as the colours reflect those of nature. The player thus has a physiological response of safety and trust.
